Steve Markham is the Executive Vice President and Head of Supply Chain Consulting at Körber Supply Chain LLC, a role he assumed in October 2022. With extensive prior experience managing warehouses, internal logistics, and assembly operations at both OEMs and 3PLs, Steve drives the development of warehouse and logistics systems from the customers’ perspective. His two decades of executive leadership experience are built upon international foundations laid while living overseas and managing successful projects in Germany, Brazil, South Africa, and Austria.

Passionate about integrating people, processes, and technology into a high-performing, winning culture, Steve prioritizes the right people and culture first and then focuses on the right processes and technology.

Before joining Körber, Steve ran his own interim management and consulting practice, where he held executive and management roles at Lenze America, Schaefer Container Systems, Kuehne & Nagel, and others. He also worked on short-term projects in M&A and on automotive turnarounds. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Steve began his career in customer service, project sales, and business development with BLG Logistics in Bremen, Germany. From there, he co-managed a BLG joint venture in Curitiba, Brazil, before founding and leading BLG’s US operations.

As Head of Supply Chain Consulting at Körber, Steve leads an international team providing professional services, including logistics software consulting, configuration, customization, and consulting, as well as the proprietary adaptive software platform STEPLogic and its related suite of products.

Steve and his wife live in Atlanta, Georgia, and have two grown daughters. He enjoys international travel, sports, and experiencing diverse cultures.
